photo credit: Nicholas_TI just received confirmation from one of our investors that it looks like that funding for the USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing Program is back!
“In view of the information we have received today from USDA Rural Development regarding the Agency’s ability to issue loan approvals (Conditional Commitments: RD Form 1980-18) that are subject to Congressional action, standard interest rate lock and lock extension policies have been reinstated effective immediately.”
This means, in plain English, that USDA funding is back and we are able to originate USDA Home Mortgages and operate like the previous year.
Please share the good news, especially if you know anybody who is considering buying an eligible home in one of the designated areas in the Phoenix metro area such as the City of Maricopa, parts of Queen Creek and all of Casa Grande, Arizona.
If you are looking to own a home in these areas, you have good credit; however, you feel you don’t have enough reserves or down payment don’t wait any longer!
100% financing with USDA is back!!!

There is quite a lot of rural land in Missouri I’m wondering how such a program will effect us and our agriculture. I think my banker at kirkwood mortgage had mentioned this the other day but I didn’t give it much thought at the time.
