What Has Six Wheels, 31 Days, and Heart?

Here’s a hint…Sellsius, the Real Estate Blog, is going on the road this summer. Determined to connect in person rather than only electronically, Sellsius is loading a couple of bloggers into an RV and setting out from New York City to see the country. They will zigzag on a route not yet settled, but for sure they will be in San Francisco by the end of July.

Blog Tour USA started as the brain child of Sellsius, and at least two other sponsors have come aboard in recent days – Active Rain and Inman News. Following the kickoff at Active Rain’s first birthday party on June 30, the tour will make stops to rendezvous with real estate agents, brokers, and of course bloggers across the country. Then on July 31 they’ll roll into San Francisco the evening before Inman’s Bloggers Connect massive networking event.

The good news is that Phoenix will be one of the stops on Blog Tour USA! I’m looking forward to being at the head of the line when they roll into town – it will be a great opportunity to meet some top bloggers and all around nice folks. Do you think they’ll put my bumper sticker on the bus?

About the “Heart” I mentioned – Sellsius wants to help change some of the negative stereotypes of real estate agents and brokers. They are seeking “…real estate agents and related service professionals, such as mortgage brokers, attorneys, home inspectors etc, who can afford to, to donate their services or time to a person or family in need.” Sellsius will act as the point of connection between people in need and professionals who want to help, and will feature the stories on the Blog Tour USA site.

This is going to be a great adventure for the folks on the bus and everyone they meet along their cross-country journey. I’m really looking forward to when they roll into town. When it happens, you’ll see it here first.
