Heck, I "want" people to know that blatant self-promotion type comments and "Good job!" isn't welcome here. That adds nothing to the conversation and I don't care much to help you with a back-link if you have nothing more valuable to say. Opinions are always welcome on my site (whether they agree with my own or not). I just don't like blatant self-promotion and I don't like people fishing for back-links... You want traffic to your site, right? The more people that visit your site, and the longer they stay on your site, the better google likes it.
