Hallo, Guten Tag, my name is Christoph Schweiger.
I am a 37 year old Austrian living in sunny, Arizona. I am married to “B” and together we have a little boy “J” (but we call him “Squink”) and live in the very southern part of the City of Scottsdale. I am a full time Loan Originator now and have been one since January of 2010, prior to that I have been a REALTOR® for over 5 years, dedicated to facilitating transactions and making a living in a field I thought I never would get into. But as everything in live, things never happen as planned, and in this case I am glad it happened and enjoy what I am doing.
My family owns vineyards in lower Austria and by default I had to work in them and at our “Heurigen”. So, Naturally I was drawn to the hospitality industry and ended up getting a degree from a Swiss hotel college near Montreux. After a couple of detours I ended up with the hotel business in Arizona in 1997 and preferring the warm climate and then falling in love with “B”, I ended up staying and have been in the Valley Of The Sun ever since.
I have been blogging on and off since the beginning of 2005. I started blogging on historicmodern.com , my web site about Real Estate in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area and now I felt it was time to start a new blog.
So here I am!
